A bit about Twidentify

I thought I’d write a quick note to explain the way Twidentify started, and our goals with it.

As users, we are forced to jump between different Twitter services.  We have no automated flow of data or continuity between tools. We have different goals but no single tool addresses them from end-to-end.

For example, this makes it particularly hard for new users to engage. On top of learning about how Twitter works and how to get started, they need to learn about all the tools that are available, how to make use of them and when each is relevant.  It’s a slow start for lots of Twitter users – and we’d like to help them engage and find relevance faster.

Twidentify aims to solve this by combining all the great tools that are out there in useful ways, whether you are researching, looking for influential opinions or trying to engage.

If you find yourself jumping from site to site in a repetitive way, or have any suggestions or use cases you feel are missing, please let us know.

We’ve already had many suggestions, and we’re looking forward to evolving the service. Thanks for engaging!
